Access Europe is a three-year programme, led by The Wheel and funded by the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs, to provide a support and capacity-building programme for Irish civil society organisations to better access EU funds and engage in EU policy. Access Europe launched their support service in November 2020, since then the service has helped numerous Irish civil society organisations explore and unlock EU funding opportunities. They will be joined by the Minister of State for European Affairs, Thomas Byrne TD, for this special event showcasing the impact of Year 1 of the Access Europe programme.
Access Europe will explore results and success stories, and also launch their new website and partnership database, which aims to connect Irish civil society organisations with organisations across Europe for partnership in EU funded projects.
