The EU JTF Community and Enterprise Grants Scheme is open for applications! Launched on 12 January, the call will remain open until 5:00pm, 22 February 2024 extended to 28 February 2024.
The purpose of this funding is to support local community organisations and small to medium sized enterprises in the Midlands with ideas and initiatives that they see will benefit their own community’s needs and also create employment opportunities and provide skills training.
The following types of eligible organisation in the EU Just Transition Fund Territory are invited to apply to the Scheme:
- Community and Voluntary Organisations or Not for Profit Organisations (NGOs)
- Social Enterprises
- Micro and Small to Medium Sized Organisations
The deadline for applications is 22 February 2024 extended to 28 February 2024. Organisations must be registered to the MyPobal portal to complete the application form.
Eligible organisations can apply for grants from €50,000 of up to €300,000 under this scheme. A total of €5million is available in this scheme that is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union through the EU Just Transition Fund (JTF). It is the second call under the EU JTF providing direct support to the implementation of Local and Regional Economic Strategies.
Three online application support events are being held for interested applicants:
- A launch event held on 22nd January is available to watch back on www.pobal.ie.
- Online Information Clinic: Friday, 9 February.
- Online Information Clinic: Monday, 19 February.
