The first of the funding schemes under the EU Just Transition Fund has been launched. A new scheme through Zero Emission Vehicle Ireland (ZEVI) is available in Ireland’s EU JTF territory to install Electric Vehicle chargers in community facilities.
The €15 million scheme provides grants, with the support of the EU Just Transitions Fund which is co-financed by the Irish Exchequer and the European Union, to cover 100% of costs associated with civil, electrical, and installation works necessary to install publicly accessible 50 kW electric vehicle chargers.
Call for proposals opened on 28 July 2023.
The deadline to apply is 5pm on Thursday, 28 September 2023.
