Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF)

The European Commission’s long -term budget is known as the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) . Beneficiaries of EU Funding will be aware that the current MFF concludes in 2027. To prepare for the next phase, the European Commission has published a Communication on ‘The Road to the next Multiannual Financial Framework’. This publication is the Commission’s forthcoming proposal for the post 2027 Multiannual framework outlines the key policy and budgetary challenges that will shape the design of the next MFF. In parallel, the Commission has also launched a Europe-wide consultation process with a range of stakeholders, including Member States governments, regional entities, and citizens.

The Commission is inviting stakeholders and citizens to have their say on the future EU budget and the policies it should support. The consultations will be open until 6 May. They can be accessed via the following links:
