A visit to the The Robert Emmet Community Development Project (RECDP) features in the latest episode of the Stories from the regions series.
The Community Development Project is based in Dublin’s South West Inner City and was founded in 2003 to work with local individuals, voluntary groups and other stakeholders. The project supports conditions for the creation of a thriving community, where everyone, regardless of their background can reach their full potential.
The RECDP runs a variety of activities such as urban beekeeping, guided walking tours led by locals, afterschool programme, and community building activities that are designed to support immigrant women. In this video we introduce you Dallal and Anthony, whose personal experiences are shining examples of the RECDP’s achievements.
