Training opportunity for journalism students and young journalists to learn about all things Cohesion Policy
Today, the European Commission has officially launched the application period for the 8th edition of Youth4Regions, a programme targeting aspiring journalists. Applications are accepted under three categories (general journalism, photojournalism, and video journalism). The programme provides journalism students and young journalists with a week of learning in Brussels in October 2024, where successful applicants will follow training sessions, receive mentorship from more experienced journalists and work with them in the press room, and will visit the various EU institutions and media organisations.
The Commission covers travel, food and accommodation. Most meals are also provided during the programme in October.
If selected, the successful applicants must come to Brussels from 5 to 11 October.
The application form and the conditions for participation are available on the programme’s webpage. The application period remains open till 8 July 2024.
